To secure a date, a 50% booking fee is required and then we can start the prep work with the remainder of the money due 5 days before shoot date.

FAQ’s

How far in advance do I need to book?
Certain times of the year are really popular so I would book in within three months to secure the date you need which gives us plenty of time to plan your photoshoot.

You can of course book in the same month but its subject to availability for that time, always ask as you never know.

Are there any additional costs?

There are options for hair and makeup, colour consultants and location shoot houses or co-working spaces. All of these will make your photo shoot amazing but if they are not within budget, we can plan around them. Most of my clients do not have any of these but there are always options if you feel you need something extra.

Is travel included?

What if I need to move my shoot date or cancel?
I understand that sometimes unavoidable things happen in life, I am a mom of two and a business owner myself, so I get it. Your booking fee is legally non-refundable and you have a 6 month window to reschedule your photoshoot.
How do I pay?
A booking fee (along with a signed contract) is required to secure the shoot date. The final balance is then due 5 days before the shoot date.
Where do I have the shoot?

There are so many places to do your shoot and this is a huge part of the planning process we go through together.

During the planning call, we’ll talk through locations. You may already have a great one, or I may recommend somewhere that fits you and your business, or you could hire a shoot house that fits in with your brand.

What should I wear?

This part is so important, you need to feel comfortable in what you wear but you also need to stand out and work together with your branding so that your website and marketing materials can look the best the possibly can.

I would highly recommend a colour consultant if you haven’t had one before. They can tell you what season you are and this gives you a great guide to know what colours light you up. There are also style sessions to help with what to wear for your body shape. I work with Kirsty Macc and she has some special packages for photo shoots that I can share with you.

If that is out of budget, then I will do with I can to guide you with what not to wear and you can send me photos of what you are thinking of wearing and we can go from there.

Can I have wardrobe changes?
Yes, there are options with all packages for wardrobe changes and I highly recommend you bring at least 3 outfits.

It will give you more variety and won’t all look like they were all taken on one day. Think seasonally too, so you can cover more seasons than the one the shoot is in by using layers.

Do you help with planning?

Yes, you will be sent a questionnaire to fill in on booking so I can understand you and your business as best I can. It will help me understand your goals and any forthcoming marketing activities.

I’ll then get you to do a mood board or I can do one for you, so I can see what style you want to aim for. We have a 1-hr consultation call to go though, locations, clothes, props, timings, shoot lists and even lunch if we need it.

Do I need to book hair and makeup?

As these images will be all over your website and marketing materials, you will want to look your best self. It can be good to have a pamper to get you feeling great just before your shoot too.

How many images do I receive?

This depends on your package. Please take a look at the packages for more in-depth details.

What format are the images in ?

They will be in JPEG format. In the online gallery you will be able to download both high res and social media versions.

Raw images are not included, but if you have the software they can be provided. For this there are extra charges as I will need to edit them for you.
